Internal Auditor

This position will report to the Chief Financial Officer and have independent access to the APH President and Board of Directors. The Internal Auditor will be responsible for ensuring APH's compliance with the OMB (Office of Management and Budget Circular No. A-133 Audits of States, Local Governments and Non-Profits Organizations).


Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Develops an OMB Circular A-133 compliant audit program to provide expense documentation, accounting and procurement policies and procedures consistent with A-133 requirements.
  2. Administers internal audit program, specifically payroll and other departmental expenses in accordance with A-133 requirements.
  3. Reviews procurement contracts and practices to ensure compliance with A-133 requirements.
  4. Coordinates A-133 audit with external auditors.
  5. Performs follow-up on the status of outstanding internal audit issues.

Education, Training & Experience Requirements:


Compensation:

Salary negotiable based on education and experience.

Pay Grade: 9
$ 21.11 (Minimum)
$ 26.48 (Midpoint)

NOTE: The Internal Auditor position will be a permanent part-time position; however, during the first three months (orientation period), the employee will be expected to work 20 - 30 hours per week, with a flexible work schedule.
